Everything you need to know about XPeek

X open-sourced their recommendation algorithm on January 20, 2026. XPeek uses the exact weights from their official GitHub repository (github.com/xai-org/x-algorithm) to calculate scores. We don't guess - we use the same math X uses to rank content in the For You feed.
No. XPeek only reads public data from your profile - the same data anyone can see when they visit your profile. We never automate posting, never create fake engagement, and never violate X's Terms of Service. It's like using a calculator to understand your grades - completely safe.
Your data never leaves your device. XPeek runs entirely in your browser using local storage (IndexedDB). We don't have servers that store your tweets or analytics. When you clear your browser data, it's gone. This is privacy by design.
The engagement weights we use are directly from X's January 2026 open-source release. However, X's full recommendation system includes factors we can't measure (like your followers' engagement patterns, trending topics, etc.). Think of your XPeek score as the "content quality" portion of the algorithm - what you can control.
XPeek works in 6 languages: English, Chinese (简体中文), Japanese (日本語), Korean (한국어), Spanish (Español), and French (Français). The Chrome extension can scrape data from X regardless of the language you use X in.

XPeek has two parts: a web dashboard (works in any browser) and an optional Chrome extension for scraping your tweet data. The extension is optional - you can also manually import your X data archive.
